2017 - What a Year!

Another year another whole lot of achievements and exciting adventures! As 2017 draws to a close I often forget what I accomplished this year as I toggle through my posts and realise how much I have to be grateful for!. The year began with another successful Tamworth Country Music Festival where I took out the Wests Aristocrat Country Entertainer of the Year and was a special guest at the Shine Concert. I debut with my best friend which was such an amazing experience being presented as a debutante to my family and friends. After which we set off to Bali for a family holiday for 2 weeks of sun fun and relaxation. I was invited to be a special guest on Hangin With Adam and Ash on the Disney channel Australia a lifelong dream came true. It was an amazing day on the set meeting the cast and playing games, something I will never forget and I am so humbled to receive such a wonderful experience. I have had the pleasure of performing with some of the most amazing artists in Australia this year including Amber Lawrence, Deep Creek Road, Iain Archibald Band, Jimmy Cupples official, We Are Fisher, Vlado and In Stereo and performed at some amazing festivals and events including Kilmore Country Music Festival, Power Ranch Trafalgar Country/Rock Nights, Teen Vibes and Kids Fashion Meets Music with Dj Jazzy. I was overwhelmed to be asked by the incredible Casey Donovan to open her show in Melbourne which was left with amazing reviews on the The AU Review. I couldn't have been more thrilled to perform on the night and receive such amazing reviews for my performance, so humbling. Northern College of the Arts & Technology has given me so many amazing opportunities as I was invited to perform at the Government House Melbourne before the Governor of Victoria and other dignitaries at an event welcoming International students to Victorian Government schools and performed some of my original songs for the amazing Russell Morris. I performed in Theatre studies in the Three Penny Opera and the Louder than Words musical. I attended some fantastic musicals including Aladdin and Away where I was fortunate enough to meet Pamela Rabe who plays Joan Ferguson on my favourite TV show Wentworth. This year I turned 17 my last year as an teenager! I received the highest mark for my VET Music Industry at NCAT and received 3 Excellent certificates for Drama, Music and Business Management. I have been back in the studio again with the talented Lee Bradshaw and written some amazing new songs that I'm so proud of and can't wait to share with you all in 2018. Seriously, 2017 has been an incredible year for me and I'm eager to get 2018 underway as it will be my last year of school as I tackle Year 12 and VCE. I want to personally thank my Mum, Dad and my friend and manager Ben Jackson for everything they have done for me this year and I want you to know that I appreciate and love your all so so much. I want to wish everyone of my friends, family and supporters the most amazing and safe new year ever. See you in 2018!...... Never give up on what you know you are destined to do!!
