2016 - What a Year!

How quick does another year go! I can't believe 2016 is over! I tend to forget what actually happens during the year and love going back over what the year brought for me and have so much to be grateful for! I attended another successful Tamworth, one of my favourite festivals to play at and was given an endorsement from the most amazing guitars in Australia, Maton Guitars. I went to the USA and had the most incredible time. I got to meet some amazing people, casting directors and attended awesome workshops thanks to Ali Roberts Studio, an experience I will cherish for my life. I got to catch up with my friends Briony, Sabrina Carpenter, Jada Facer, J'Rose to name a few. I even got a back stage tour of the Disney Channel Girl Meets World set with my buddy Sabrina, and went to my first iHeartRadio event. I went to Nashville, Tennessee for the first time and got to play on some of the most iconic stages like the The Bluebird Cafe, Honky Tonk Central, Two Old Hippies, Douglas Corner and meet the most wonderful people while I was there. I opened for the awesome Fletcher Pilon on his Melbourne Tour and was invited to the The X Factor - Australia to audition where I received 3 yes's and went to boot camp. I turned 16 finally and got my Learners! I am loving learning to drive! I received my little verification blue tick from Facebook, won 3rd place in the ACMF Australian Children's Music Foundation song writing competition and won the Mount Franklin Junior Talent Quest in Tamworth. I have been back in the studio with the talented Lee Bradshaw and written some amazing new songs that I'm so proud of and can't wait to share with you all in 2017. Seriously, 2016 has been an incredible year for me and I'm eager to get 2017 underway and I'm so excited for what's around the corner. I want to personally thank my Mum, Dad and Ben Jackson for everything they have done for me this year and I want you to know that I appreciate you all so much.
